Being part of the Greenway Club Racers Swim Team is an exciting and rewarding experience! Swimmers will improve their skills, build team spirit, and have a blast with friends. If you're new to the Racers, here’s what to expect. G-O-O-O-O-O RACERS!!!
📅 2025 Registration Details
🖥 Registration Opens: April 11, 2025 @ 8:00 AM
⏳ Registration Closes: May 11, 2025 @ 8:00 PM

✅ Open to Ages 4-18 (4-year-olds may register if space permits)
✅ Swim Team Pre-Requisite: Must swim 15 yards unassisted
💰 Registration Fee: $145 (Includes over 60 practices, team cap, and shirt!)
📢 MEMBERS ONLY! TSA rules require all swimmers to be members of The Greenway Club.

🔹 Expectations of Swimmer Ability
✔️ Ages 6 & Under – Must swim 15 yards freestyle without assistance
✔️ Ages 7 & Up – Must swim 25 yards freestyle without assistance
🚨 If unable to meet these requirements, the swimmer may register for the 🐍 Little Racers Program! 🐍
💡 Little Racers replaces swim lessons and is designed to build water confidence & swim skills.
⛈ Inclement Weather & Meet Rescheduling
📢 Weather updates will be sent via email & Remind notifications (sign up in the member portal).
⏳ If a meet is delayed due to weather, we will wait it out per TSA rules. If rescheduled, families must notify the Head Coach of availability.

📢 Our team sets up at the opposite end of the Lap Pool. The Slide Pool area is reserved for the visiting team. 🚫 Do not set up in front of the bathrooms – this is our designated Fire Access area!

🚨 Meet Delays: If inclement weather occurs, please remain at the facility until further notice—we follow TSA regulations for delays and rescheduling.

💪 Each family is required to volunteer at least 2 meets!
📋 Check in with Volunteer Coordinator Lindsay Decker upon arrival.
💡 If you need a replacement, contact Lindsay ASAP.
🎖️ Ribbons, Trophies & Awards
🏅 Ages 4-10 receive a ribbon for every event!
🏆 Main event swimmers receive place ribbons the next day.
📈 Final Meet = "Personal Best" Ribbon with season-best times!
🎉 End-of-Season Awards Banquet: 🏆 Thursday, July 17 @ 5:00 PM!
🛍 Swim Team Apparel
✔️ Swim Suit: Solid NAVY BLUE with optional LIME GREEN accents (no prints or patterns).
✔️ Swim Cap: 2025 Racers Team Cap REQUIRED at meets! Each swimmer gets one free. Label it with a marker!
✔️ Goggles: Optional, but highly recommended. Label them!

🌟 For Ages 3-6 – Build confidence & skills to meet swim team requirements!

💰 Cost Per Session:
🔹 Mon/Wed AM or PM: $100
🔹 Tues/Fri AM: $87.50 (No class on July 4)
