Virtual TSA Meet this year

    Greenway Families,

    As we continue to adjust to the Covid impacts to our summer swimming, we will have a different end of summer opportunity from other years.  In the past, we often swam at North Raleigh Championships as an alternative to the TSA championships.  This year, due to Covid, neither event was able to be scheduled normally.  As an alternative, there will be a virtual TSA meet.   Final details have not been released yet, but at a high level, the meet will be virtual against ALL clubs for any swimmers who want to be entered.   Due to pool commitments, Greenway will not be scheduling a swim but will instead use your children's best times from the season.

    From the TSA organization:

    "There will not be a fee to participate and therefore no ribbons or trophies will be given. This is a chance for swimmers across our league to swim for pride and not prize, to see how they rank among their friends and to have one more chance to make a splash.

    There is no way to run live results, but once all swimmer times are entered into Meet Maestro we can generate a file with all swimmer times in each event, and give a shout out to the top swimmers in each event, and send them a great certificate in the mail."

    Please be on the lookout for another "Meet" that we will schedule to indicate that you would like to be included in the meet.
